I'M BAAAAAAAAACK!!! :)
PENNSYLVANIA I AM IN YOU!! Hehe ;) That's right Miss Mia moved back home and I'M LOVING EVERY MINUTE OF IT! Special thanks to all of my friends and family, especially my incredible mother Cindy, who have made my homecoming so very exciting and special for me. You guys are amazing!
So I'm back in PA but not necessarily back online yet. In fact, I'm currently writing this blog using the BlogIt! App on my Android cellphone, which is pretty damn nifty. No internet access on my home PC at the moment, although I've price checked a few local service providers like Clear, Comcast, and Verizon FiOS.
I am a little worried about the DNSChanger malware floating around that caused the FBI to shut down and replace several servers on July 9th but there's really nothing I can do about it now since I wasn't around for Doom's Day. I guess I'll find out if this computer is infected or not when I finally decide on an ISP and try to log-on. We shall see...
The truth is I'm not really in a rush to get back online. Believe it or not, I've actually grown to like not being plugged into the World Wide Web 24/7. It's quite freeing and reminds me of my teen years when soaking in the sun with friends was preferable to waiting forever for a 28K modem to log onto AOL. (Yes, I'm that old! LOL)
That said, I've decided to stay ISP Free until Late-Fall/Early-Winter! I've been so busy since I returned to PA I just don't see the point in spending an extra $50/mo. on something I'm not going to use. This way I can fully enjoy my summer and focus on improving my environment, finding a job, spending time with loved ones, and finishing DE (my Young Adult Paranormal novel) without any unnecessary distractions. Sound good? :)
Don't worry I'll still be checking in here from time-to-time to share my misadventures, discuss my progress on DE, and basically be that all around pain-in-the-ass you've grown to know and love! (It's what I do best! hehe)
So stay tuned blogosphere and WATCH OUT PHILLY!!! MISS MIA IS BACK, BABY!
XOXO
