WRITING WAFFLES: Novel, Interrupted!

Ugh! I've finished Chapters 9, 11, and 12 of DE this past week, but I seem to be stuck on page 10 of Chapter 10 for some odd reason.

Maybe it's because this is the chapter where the Headless Horseman makes his first appearance and a very crucial chase/death scene occurs? I dunno... I just wish I could wrap it up already so that I can start writing Chapter 13 with a fresh perspective.

Alas, my Idea Fairy Stan (aka "Stan the Man") is being a stubborn, uncooperative, rat bastard who would rather pound down cheap beer, smoke an entire box of Cuban cigars, and chase after Vegas showgirls then do his job by actually attempting to inspire me right now.

*Le sigh* I think I'll turn off my PC and watch one of my favorite movies Girl, Interrupted (starring Winona Ryder, Brittany, Murphy, and Angelina Jolie) on DVD instead. I just love the opening monologue...

Susanna: Have you ever confused a dream with life? Or stolen something when you have the cash? Have you ever been blue? Or thought your train moving while sitting still? Maybe I was just crazy. Maybe it was the 60's. Or maybe I was just a girl... interrupted.

My train [read: novel] may not be moving right now, but at least it left the station. ;)
